Journey to Inner Freedom

My computer has a feature called “Preview” where I can see the results-in-miniature before proceeding with the process. This chapter is your Preview to each Roadsign that offers a clue.

The clue for Roadsign #1 is Preparation, which must precede any forward movement, and is a major part of The Beginning. This book is about the Journey from bondage to freedom; whether you are locked-up in a prison behind bars, or just locked-up in the prison of your self. I am on this Journey too, as your Traveling Companion.

The Burning Bush offers the clue for Roadsign #2: Identification. The Lord revealed himself to Moses as “I AM THAT I AM” promising “I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall speak. I will bring you out from the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from their bondage.” God is our Tour Guide too.

The clue for Roadsign #3: Evaluation, is Intentions, when we question: “Where am I going?” It’s an opportunity to clarify our Intentions — stay or go.

In Road Sign #4, Moses and the Israelites faced their Plagues, and we do too. Often Murphy’s Law, “if it can go wrong, it does go wrong” applies. But the Bible says “I will pass over you, and no plague shall fall upon you to destroy you, when I smite Egypt.” Focus and faith are the by-words here, as throughout the trip. The Israelites survived the terrible Plagues by following God’s instructions; and we will too. Afterward Moses said to the people: “Remember this day, the Lord brought you out from this.”

At Roadsign #5: The Red Sea, Moses gave us the clue: “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord … you have only to be still.” The word is Faith.
Thank goodness we’ve decided where we’re going, and have committed to the Process.

Roadsign #6: The Wilderness, because we need to be well-grounded. The clue is the Ark of the Covenant, the sacred secret. After detailed instructions for building (all symbolic), the Lord said: “There I will meet with you. I will speak with you.” … “And the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. Throughout all their journeys, the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day, and the fire was in it by night.”

In Road Sign #7 learn that Moses wasn’t allowed to enter the Promised Land, and that mystery will be solved as we travel. So, before Joshua led the Israelites across the River Jordan, the Lord spoke: “Love the Lord your God, and serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.” This clue is Unconditional Love. It is followed with further instructions:
“… being careful to do according to the law which Moses my servant commanded you; turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go.” …”You shall meditate on it day and night …and then you shall have good success. Have I not commanded you: ‘only be strong and of good courage; be not frightened, neither be dismayed; for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go’?” (Joshua 1). The second clue here is Obedience to the Law.

In Road Sign #8, The Battles of the Promised Land serve notice that we’re at another Ending, and we still have much letting go. So the old patterns, addictions, and other limitations come up one last time for review before our victory is complete. The many clues here are complex, so I’ll summarize them with one: The core issue we must face and conquer is survival. We ask: “What is going to happen to me? Who will take care of Me? How will I survive? Hopefully by the time we reach this place, we’ve learned the answer. I won’t spoil the end by telling you now.

Road Sign #9, Assignment of the Land, introduces The Void, and we discover the clue: do something, anything. Here we also meet The Twelve Tribes of Israel, as symbolic of our inner powers.

Road Sign #10, The Final Battles, reveal the Last Roots, which give us the clue of our root cause, and freedom.

Road Sign #11, Living in the Promised Land, is dependent on only one clue, and it can happen instantaneously, if we know how to apply the Universal Law involved. The prophet Hosea discovered it when he shouted: “I am become rich, I have found me out substance.” It is the God-essence from which all is created, and we call if forth through our thoughts.
Now that you have the vital clues, are all your needs met? I doubt it. I’ve cycled through this realization several times, and I’m still not a millionaire, but I’m making progress on my inner Journey. I’ll give you another clue: “Realization precedes manifestation.” It means that the idea of divine substance, the energy from which all existence is created, must become reality for you before you can call it forth into manifestation.
But it’s not that easy, because the Adversary is keeping us in bondage and limitation with the patterns, addictions, and subconscious memories that still project negativity and attract the undesired results.
That’s why this evolution process is cyclic and spherical. We are processing through on many levels, and once we’ve completed the process on all levels, we’ll be completely at home in The Promised Land, because we will have attained Oneness with God — Divine Substance.
